North Crowley triumphed over Lancaster in a tightly contested 29-21 victory at the Jerry Jones Classic, held at The Star in Frisco. Backed by a relentless defense and timely plays, the Panthers showcased their resilience and pride in representing Fort Worth on a big stage.
The game opened with North Crowley opting for aggressive fourth-down plays in the red zone, though they came up short early. Their defense quickly turned the tide, with DeMorey Beasley recovering a fumble to set up a four-yard touchdown by Daniel Bray. Beasley also added a two-point conversion, putting the Panthers on the board.
Lancaster responded with a long touchdown drive, but quarterback Chris Jimerson Jr. found Quentin Gibson for a 14-yard score on fourth-and-long to restore North Crowley’s lead. The defense came up clutch again, forcing a fumble in the red zone to keep the Tigers at bay.
Just before halftime, Lancaster appeared poised to strike back after an interception, but an inadvertent whistle nullified their opportunity. Seizing the chance, Jimerson Jr. connected with Gibson for another touchdown, giving the Panthers a 22-7 advantage at the break.

Lancaster kept the pressure on in the second half, narrowing the gap with a touchdown pass from Carter Jones to Ja’Quavius Pipkin. However, North Crowley’s defense held firm during key moments, including a fourth-down stop at their own four-yard line.
In a pivotal drive, the Panthers marched 98 yards over 17 plays, capped by Gibson’s third touchdown of the night, a 21-yard grab. Gibson shone with 76 receiving yards and all three of North Crowley’s receiving touchdowns, while Jimerson Jr. earned MVP honors with 214 passing yards and 56 rushing yards.
Lancaster fought back with a late touchdown, but Jeramie Cooper secured the ensuing onside kick. A 37-yard run by Cornelius Warren III sealed the game, completing his 129-yard rushing performance.
With their grit and determination on full display, North Crowley claimed a hard-fought victory, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting season.
